Perfectionist Aamir Khan is leaving no stone unturned for his upcoming project Lal Singh Chaddha. An official remake of Tom Hanks’s 1994 hit Forrest Gump, took five years for the makers to seal the deal. Though several filmmakers had approached the Hollywood makers for the rights, they felt Aamir Khan fits the bills; hence they gave a nod to the production banner here in India, getting him on board.  Thus, the actor like always has decided to go in full swing prepping for his role.

Just like Dangal, how he shredded few kilos to play young and old Phogat sisters’ father, in Lal Singh Chaddha too, the actor is set to reduce 20 kilos to play the younger role in the movie. Khan being a foodie is currently consuming only sabzi roti and protein based food to get the physique required for the role.   The film is scheduled to hit the shooting floors in November 2019, before which the actor will undergo a special training to get the right look for the flick.

The original flick Forest Gump had bagged six Oscars for best director, best actor, best picture and adaptation of screenplay, editing and visual effects category as well.

The original was based on a novel Winston Groom published in 1986. Releasing on June 23, 1994 and minted 678.1 million dollars .
