Aamir Khan may have recommended and passed on his role in the Indo-Sino venture Kung Fu Yoga to his neighbour Tiger Shroff. But the actor hasn't completely given up on the film yet. His desire to collaborate with Chinese superstar Jackie Chan has driven him to go back to the project. But this time, it's only in the capacity of a producer.
Yes, Aamir Khan Productions is co-producing Kung Fu Yoga along with Viacom 18 and the Chinese film body.
"Aamir has given the nod. The paper work is in progress. And his team will start working on it soon," says a source in the know.
Katrina Kaif, who was considered initially for the project, hasn't shown any interest so far. "We have yet to finalise the heroine," adds the source.
Kung Fu Yoga goes on floors in September.
