Yes, Bollywood stars thronged the PK success bash, which was thrown in honour of its 100-crore collections in China.
The usual suspects read Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Rajkumar Hirani and Siddharth Roy Kapur were obviously present. Of course, Aamir caught everybodys eye with his ensemble. The actor wore a Chinese outfit gifted to him by Jackie Chan. Aint that sweet?
The team pulled a fast one on Anushka. As soon as the actress entered the venue, the band members started playing the IPL theme song much to her amusement. Bet Anushka missed a certain Mr. Kohli then!
And if its an Aamir event, his new friend Kangana Ranaut cant be far away. The actress was seen mingling with the guests and especially with her Katti Batti co-star Imran Khan.
Amitabh Bachchan too graced the occasion.
The highlight of the evening, of course, was Ranveer Singh (thats not a surprise given his loud and animated behaviour). The actor showed his buoyant side as Anil Kapoor lifted him in his arms. But thats not why he was the centre of attention.
Ranveer was thronged by the media, asking him whether he and Deepika Padukone will get engaged soon (Get engaged, Prakash Padukone tells Deepika-Ranveer, June 9). The actor smartly chose to avoid the question altogether.
But he expressed his love for Deepika at the first opportunity he got. The actor was leaving the party when his ladylove arrived. So what does the doting boyfriend do? He waits for the lady, of course. Yes, the Dil Dhadakne Do actor patiently waited as Deepika finished with her media bytes. He then opened the door to the ballroom and accompanied her inside to the party.
The bash also saw Reena Dutta with her son Junaid, Sushant Singh Rajput, Tabu, Javed and Zoya Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Jackie Shroff and Manyata Dutt among others.
