Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan turned a year older on Thursday. Her proud parents took to their official social media handles to pen heartfelt messages and share throwback photos with the birthday girl. Fans too took to the internet to shower love and admiration on the beautiful girl on her special day. Many even went gaga over the unseen pictures posted by the actors.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Abhishek shared a photo were a very young Aaradhya can be seen sitting on his lap. Dressed in a pretty pink dress, the girl is seen staring up at her father, who looks dapper in a suit. Sharing the post, the Ghoomer actor wrote, “Happy birthday my little princess! For the unversed, the actors tied the knot with in 2007 in Mumbai in a closed-off ceremony and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. In a throwback interview, talking about Aishwarya’s pregnancy, her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, praised her for giving birth without painkillers or epidurals. Aaradhya is currently studying at a school in Mumbai.
On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the pan-Indian film Ponniyin Selvan 2, a sequel to Ponniyin Selvan 1. The Mani Ratnam directorial also stars Trisha Krishnan, Vikram and Karthi among many others.
