On his birthday, Anurag Kashyap along with comedian Kunal Kamra reached journalist Arnab Goswami’s office to present him 'Excellence In Journalism Award’ or now famously called 'Chapal Award'. But the duo was denied access without permission. Many news channels are in news for the kind of reporting being done around on Sushant Singh Rajput's death and Rhea Chakraborty. Following the same, Anurag and Kunal reached his office and formerly called it the best birthday ever. Taking to his social media, Anurag shared a picture of them together with the award.

The video opens with the old footage of Arnab praising him while welcoming him on his show in 2012 for the promotion of Gangs Of Wasseypur. The video then moves to ‘many years later’ and shows the picture of Anurag with Kunal Kamra at his office, recently. The funny video was made bu meme-makers and the filmmaker on his social media shared the same.
In the video, Arnab is seen welcoming Anurag in his show while praising him for the interview. In the clip, the journalist is seen saying, “I am so proud to have in the studios this evening with me. The super talented Anurag Kashyap I am so happy and proud to have you.”Captioning the video, Anurag wrote, “Yeh kaun kiya ??? @kuna_kamra pata hai kisne kiya ye ?? @weknow_nair ne kiya kya?
Meanwhile, Anurag is in headlines for making his chats with Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager public.
