Twitteratis stand divided after Deepika Padukone’s name emerged in the alleged drug case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput. Yesterday, NCB accessed chats of two top actresses with initials D and K, however, D later turned out to be Deepika Padukone and K was an employee of KWAN talent management company and Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash. The chats that were accessed by news channel Times Now, saw Deepika asking Karishma for ‘hash’ not ‘weed.’ The chats accessed by the NCB were dated October 2017.

Now in the latest development, NCB reportedly questioned Jaya Saha about Deepika and Karishma’s drug chat. According to a report in India Today, Narcotics officials asked Jaya if she had any idea if Karishma was procuring drugs for Deepika. Jaya’s name surfaced after her name appeared in Rhea Chakraborty’s chats while ED was investigating a money laundering case. The drug angle emerged after Jaya’s chat with Rhea about CBD oil were accessed by NCB. The message Jaya sent to Rhea in late 2019 allegedly read, “Use 4 drops in tea, let him sip it …. Give it 30-40 mins to kick in”
