After Diwali 2020 Bash, Abhishek Bachchan And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan TO NOT Host A Big Birthday Bash For Daughter Aaradhya This Year - Reports
The year 2020 has been disastrous for all. While the economy and health of people have been badly hit due to Coronavirus, Bollywood has suffered the most as many prolific actors passed away. From Irrfan Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput to Rishi Kapoor, many actors left for their heavenly abodes. Following this, the Diwali 2020 is also going to be pretty low and intimate for Bollywood stars. No grand parties are going to take place this year. Bachchans are not going to host any Diwali party. Now, reports also state that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have decided to keep daughter Aaradhya's birthday a low key affair. The little one will ring in her 9th birthday on November 16.

A report in Mid-day has a source saying that Abhishek and Aishwarya won't be hosting any grand event to celebrate Aaradhya's birthday. Usually, they host Disney-themed bash which is attended by many stars and their kids. However, this year will be different. The source was quoted saying, "All Bollywood celebrations have been low-key. Aaradhya’s birthday will also be muted. It will not be possible to host a grand event under the current circumstances. While the parents would usually spend days planning her birthday to host Disney-themed parties, celebrations will be restricted to cutting cake. However, given that the day is special for the family, the parents will aim to make it as special as is possible."

Earlier, to SpotboyE, Abhishek Bachchan had opened up about not organising a Diwali bash. The actor shared, “It’s true. We had a death in the family this year. My sister Shweta’s mother-in-law (Ritu Nanda) passed away. Besides, who hosts parties at a time like this? Civilisation is going through the worst crisis ever. We all need to be as careful as possible. Observing the utmost social distance is the only option we have. And that too is not a guarantee against infection. Diwali parties and other social occasions are for now a distant dream.” (Also Read: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Birthday Special: Ash Wants To Play Jaya Bachchan In A Biopic And Other Unknown Facts About The Star- EXCLUSIVE)
