The drugs angle in Bollywood picked up momentum when top celebs were summoned by NCB. Many Bollywood celebs and netizens have talked about the same in the public domain. Amongst many, Bollywood actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, Ravi Kishan also expressed his views about the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood in the Parliament. Later, he even received a severe backlash from the netizens and B-Town celebs. So much so that Ravi received death threat calls following his comment. Reacting to the same, Ravi said that he would take 2-5 bullets for the country’s future and if a life-threatening situation comes, he is ready to sacrifice his life for the country. Amidst all this, Ravi was accorded with Y+ security due to his comments on the drug nexus. The same level of security was given to Kangana Ranaut when she received threats following her remarks on Mumbai city. 

Nevertheless, after he received Y+ level security from the UP government, netizens slammed the actor as well as the government who failed to provide protection to the girls of the state who have been raped and murdered. We went through the Twitter timeline and amongst them, a user wrote, "Last day, Ravi Kishan asked UP govt for Y+ security stating threat calls next day he gets it..In contrast, the Hathras rape was reported on 14 nd after her condition deteriorated then on 28 they thought to bring her to Delhi ..I think Y+ was a much-needed system"
 
Another one said, "How about providing security to common women and girls in UP. They need it more than Ravi Kishan who has always promoted vulgarity in Bhojpuri movies." 


While another user also pointed out the same said, "People like Ravi Kishan while thanking CM Yogi for Y+ security, should also him as to why UP is witnessing a large number of cases on women atrocities, rapes & crimes.
