Just now came the news of actress Rhea Chakraborty being arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau as per reports in Times Now. She is arrested by NCB in the drugs case, so as soon as her arrest news hit the internet, her lawyer issued a statement in which he stated late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was a drug addict, suffering from mental health issues and also committing suicide after the consumption of inappropriately prescribed medicines and drugs. In his statement, he also called Rhea a single woman being bullied by the investigating agencies.
ANI News on their official Twitter account tweeted Rhea’s lawyer’s statement which read, “Travesty of justice. 3 central agencies hounding a single woman just because she was in love with a drug addict who was suffering from mental health issues for several yrs & committed suicide due to consumption of illegally administered medicines, drugs: #RheaChakraborty's lawyer” Rhea as per reports in Times Now, has confessed of consuming drugs but also revealed of doing it as she was forced by Sushant.
Post which as per yet another report in Times Now, the actress will undergo medical test soon. Prior to her, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty and SSR’s staff member Samuel Miranda were arrested and taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai to undergo tests.
Rhea Chakraborty who filed an FIR against SSR’s sister Priyanka Singh and doctor from Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, now as per reports in Indian Express Mumbai Police has filed an FIR against them with charges of cheating, abetment to suicide and more.
