So Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khans dosti keeps going strong. Never mind the fact that their respective releases, Sultan and Raees will lock horns at the box-office on Eid next year.
The media may be having a field day speculating about the clash, but the two Khans remain ice cool.
And one person who is smiling amidst all this brouhaha is Ali Abbas Zafar.
The director, who is currently gearing up to direct Salman in the titular role in the Yash Raj Films production, has briefly met Shah Rukh on the sidelines.
No, it was not to request King Khan to withdraw from the box-office battle. It was to narrate a script he has written.
Yeah guys, Ali has scripted an unusual love story and when it comes to romance, you know whos the best. Thats right, SRK! So he wants the Happy New Year star to lead the cast and YRF to back the film.
Its early days yet. This film will go on floors only after Sultan wraps up next year. By then, SRK will also be done with Fan, Raees and Dilwale. Ali is hoping Shah Rukh will give his nod, says a source on the condition of anonymity.
