2020, so far, has been a disaster year for all the moviegoers, thanks to unprecedented Coronavirus outbreak. The deadly pandemic has far spread its claws all over India, resulting in an indefinite lockdown of all the places that promote public gathering, including all the movie theatres, which have been shut from a very long time. As a consequence of which, the releasing schedule of many Bollywood biggies has gone for a toss. The list includes Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai among several others. It was to hit the big screens on Eid 2020 but in vain.
And, now, if a recent report in Pinkvilla is anything to go by, Salman Khan's Radhe is aiming for a Diwali 2020 release. Well, that certainly isn't it about this news. The report adds how the makers of Akshay Kumar's upcoming period drama Prithviraj, too, are eyeing on the Diwali slot and are likely to clash their film with the Khan starrer. It states how Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, who once shared a brother-like bond, are now looking forward to this clash. Their relationship, reportedly, went for a toss after Salman Khan backed as the producer of Kesari.
A source close to Prithviraj's development told the portal, "The sets of Prithviraj erected outdoors had been dismantled but Aditya Chopra has already got his team to build sets indoor at YRF. They have chalked out a perfect plan to film the remaining portions of their period drama inside the studios itself with limited staff and technicians. Adi is very sure and in touch with all exhibitors. Prithviraj will definitely be releasing in the festive week of Diwali, once multiplexes also open shop."
Well, we won't be surprised if this news is true as Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar were any way to clash on Eid this year. We guess that's destiny's way of compensating for things!
