 While 2018 has been an exciting year for Ayushmann Khurrana with films like Andhadun and Badhaai Ho hitting the bull’s eye, his personal life has been one with ups and downs. The actor’s wife Tahira Kashyap was detected with Stage 1A breast cancer in September. Since then, Tahira has been posting pictures with strong messages and has fought the dreaded disease like a soldier.

Now, the lady who is free from cancer has shared her bald look on social media. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Hello world! That’s a new me with the old self! Was getting tired of the extensions, so this is how it is and it’s so liberating in every sense of the word, so much so that I don’t have to duck the shower while bathing or while picking up the soap! I never thought I had go bald, was stretching my time with the good ol’ cap for too long. But this feels so good❤️#breastcancerawareness #baldisbeautiful #selflovenomatterwhat”


Ayushamann Khurrana, who continues to be in awe of his wife, commented on her new look as he wrote, “Hottie.”


 Earlier this month, Tahira took to social media and informed their fans about her last session of chemotherapy. An elated Tahira had written, “Can’t keep calm!!! Last and final chemo! Fuck yesss!! It’s been some journey. The learning has been immense, some of which, I know, I will realise with time. Thank you to each one who has been praying for me! Lots of love and prayers from my end to each one of you! My heart is bouncing with joy and gratitude🙏 #newyearhereicome #2019❤️ #breastcancerwarrior.”
