Agalaathey Ft. Vidya Balan: New Track From The Tamil Remake Of Amitabh Bachchan & Taapsee Pannu Starrer Pink Out Tomorrow
There seems to be a lot of hype around the Tamil film Nerkonda Paarvai , which is an official remake of the 2016 Bollywood film Pink that had Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Directed by H Vinoth, Nerkonda Paarvai also marks Bollywood actress Vidya Balan’s debut in the Tamil film industry. With a lot of buzz around the film, the makers will now launch the fourth song from the film, titled Agalaathey, tomorrow.

What seems to be special about the upcoming song is that it will feature Vidya Balan along with Ajith and is the only romantic track from the film. Vidya Balan looks stunning in the new still of the song and fans are very excited to see her debut in the Tamil cinema. Vidya Balan hadn’t been featured in the trailer or the previous songs of the film and we finally got to see a glimpse of her character from the film in this still. Boney Kapoor, the producer of the film, took to Twitter to share the news of the song release and captioned it as, “#Agalaathey the mesmerising number from @nerkondapaarvai  #AjithKumar and @vidya_balan song releases tomorrow at 6 PM. Watch out this combo.”

Vidya Balan, while hesitant at first to star in the remake of a Hindi film for her Tamil debut, eventually realized that this movie was the need of the hour. There is a section of audience who may not have seen the Hindi original because of language barrier in the South and the actress thought they deserved a chance.
