Karan Johar is a big-time party person in Bollywood. Fans of American singer-songwriter Katy Perry are all excited for their favourite singer to perform in India. So is Karan Johar, who’s gearing up for his party plans. The Roar singer, who will be accompanied by another sensational singer Dua Lipa, will touchdown Mumbai this week to perform in one of the biggest music festivals. Now, rumours are rife that Karan Johar is planning to host a party for the singer. The music festival is set to take place on November 16, at DY Patil Stadium.
According to a report in Times Of India, filmmaker Karan Johar, who’s known to host big Bollywood parties, will be hosting a cocktail and dinner for Katy Perry. The event may be attended by his Bollywood brigade, who will surely come over to party the night away. Earlier, KJo has hosted a party for Will Smith and before that even for director Darren Aronofsky on their visit to the city. Earlier, confirming the news of Dua Lipa joining Katy Perry in the Mumbai music festival, Lipa had told IANS, “(I am) So excited to perform in India for the first time ever. I'm excited to get back on stage, (and) I feel like it's going to be such a fun night," the "one kiss.”
The concert featuring Katy and Dua will take place in DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Even Justin Bieber had performed in this very stadium. We are all very excited and can't wait for Katy Perry and Dua Lipa's performance!
