Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan & More Pay Tribute To Pulwama Martyrs; CRPF Thanks B-Town Celebs
In February 2019 our country lost 40 soldiers in the deadly Pulwama terror attack, when an SUV ran into one of the 78 buses that was part of a CRPF convoy. This SUV carried 350 kgs of explosives resulting into the death of 40 personnel. As an encounter attack India conducted Balakot Surigical strike in Pakistan just 13 days after the terror attack. In this weakest phase of the country, like always B-Town celebs stood together and decided to stop release of all the upcoming Indian films in Pakistan.

Now after 5 months, Bollywood celebs have come together for a special video that pays tribute to the martyrs. The song titled Tu Desh Mera features many celebs such as Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Karik Aaryan and Tiger Shroff.  Now thanking them for lending their support the Twitter handle of CRPF tweeted, “We thank Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, @TheAryanKartik, and @iTIGERSHROFF for their contribution in the tribute song by @HAPPYPRODINDIA #TuDeshMera dedicated to the Pulwama Martyrs.” The song was shot and backed by Happy Production India.

According to a report in India Today around 14 actors were approached for the song, but only 6 agreed to star in it.

All the celebs were dressed in white or shades of white, when they shot for this song. Also in the stills released by the official twitter handle of CRPF, all the stars can be seen saluting.

Our Bollywood celebs on more than one ocassion, have been a part of a cause that has a social message too. In the recent past, senior Bachchan paid of loans of 2100 farmers from Bihar, whereas Aamir Khan has been constantly supporting water harvesting programs in several villages of Maharashtra.

We also thank and give a big salute to our celebs and  hope they continue to support India as and when required.
