Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Next Binodini Dasi Stalled Till 2021, Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar Waits For COVID-19 Vaccine
Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar’s next starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is likely to go on floors in March 2021, after COVID-19 vaccine is introduced
As India began with its unlocking phase many industries resumed functioning, also film projects which were stalled or were supposed to begin in Summer 2020 hit the shooting floor. However, it seems like not for Bollywood’s one of the most beautiful diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. As per reports the actress who had given a nod to Pradeep Sarkar’s next based on the life of Binodini Dasi earlier this year, is most likely to go on floors in 2021. During a chat with Mid Day, filmmaker spilling the beans shared the film can go floors only after the vaccine for COVID-19 arrives till March 2021.
The filmmaker is currently penning down the film, as he waits for COVID-19 vaccine to arrive till March 2021. In conversation with Mid Day he said, “The writing is in progress. While Aishwarya has given her nod, I have not approached other actors because I am waiting for the crisis to abate. I hope the vaccine is developed by March so that we can start shooting.” Also mentioning further besides this biopic the filmmaker has begun penning down 2 more scripts, which includes a dark comedy and a psychological thriller.
He also mentioned before Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer goes on floor, one of these scripts will hit the floors. Pradeep Sarkar shares it becomes a bit difficult for him to connect with the actors virtually for narration.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen playing popular artisan Noti Binodini from Kolkatta on the silver screen who began mesmerizing her audience with her acting prowess from the age of twelve, with the first play being held in Calcutta's National Theatre in the year 1874.
