Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Shares FIRST Post After ED Interrogation In Panama Papers Leak Case; Actress Wishes Her Parents On Their Wedding Anniversary
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared a post on her parents' wedding anniversary
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared a photo of her parents - mother Vrinda Rai and late father Krishnaraj Rai on Wednesday. She wished her parents on their 52nd wedding anniversary with a throwback picture. Aishwarya's post comes days after she was questioned by the ED (Enforcement Directorate) in the Panama papers leak case.
In the picture, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's parents stood next to each other as they smiled at the camera. Sharing the photo on Instagram, she wrote in the caption, "Happy Anniversary dearest, darling MommyDoddaaa-DaddyAjjaaa. Aishwarya Rai often shares her parents' photos on Instagram. In November, on her father's birth anniversary, she shared an old picture of him and wrote, "Happy Birthday My Dearest Darling Daddyyyy-Ajjaaa. Love youuu eternally." Abhishek Bachchan dropped a red heart emoji on the post.
Earlier this week, Aishwarya had appeared before the ED in Delhi and was reportedly questioned for six hours. The ED had recorded her statement in the case over allegations of stashing wealth abroad under the Forest Exchange Management Act, 1999. The actress had earlier submitted records on the foreign payments under investigation. The ED had issued notices to the Bachchan family asking them to explain their foreign remittances since 2004 under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) of the Reserve Bank of India.
On the work front, she will be seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. In July, Aishwarya had shared a new poster and wrote, "The Golden Era comes to life. Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. PS1."
