If you were completely impressed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's courtesan avatar and were captivated by her charm and beauty in the 1980 remake of Umaro Jaan, then get ready to feel the same as Aishwarya Rai will again be slipping into the shoes of a courtesan, only if everything falls right into the place. Well, according to the latest reports in Times Of India, Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is in talks with director Pradeep Sarkar for a biopic on a courtesan-turned-theatre actor Binodini Dasi. The portal even said that the filmmaker actually wanted Vidya Balan for the role but now it appears that he is now in talks with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the part.

Reportedly, Ash has loved the narration and the character graph, hence, the actress has given a verbal nod to the project. She is expected to sign the film only after reading the final script. However, a final confirmation is still yet to make. Talking about the film, it is said to be based on a chapter of Binodini’s autobiography, will, begin in her old age, after her retirement from theatre and will provide a look back at her life and the men who exploited her.

It would be interesting to see another biopic in Bollywood, knowing that biopics always work quite well at the box-office. Plus, seeing Ash in the complex role again has got us already excited. Mrs Rai Bachchan was last seen in Fanney Khan along with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

It is said, the actress will be next in Gulab Jamun which will star her hubby Abhishek Bachchan.
