Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan make for the most loved on-screen pair in Bollywood. They have featured together in three films namely ‘Dhoom 2’, ‘Jodhaa Akbar, and ‘Guzaarish’ besides a few commercials. The duo recently trended on social media after their old soft drink ad showing them opponents during college elections resurfaced on the internet. Fans went all gaga over the actors and hoped to see them together on the big screen.
In the old commercial shared by a Reddit user, Hrithik and Aish were seen playing college students contesting against each other in college polls. While the actor tried to woo the students with his outstanding dancing skills, the actress impressed the audience with her glam appeal. On the voting day, the War actor voted for opponent Aishwarya while she removed one vote from her own bundle but none of them reveal it to each other. The ad ended with both of them having a tie during the counting of votes. They got reunited again and happily walked away together. Both the actors looked handsome. While the Jazba star looked pretty in a yellow top and a red mini-skirt, Hrithik wore a tight blue T-shirt and denim. Soon after this old ad hit the internet, fans complimented their Jodi and wished to see them together. One fan commented, “Good looks, good looks aaaaaand good looks”. Another said, “It's a crime that we only got three films with them.” One comment can be read, “Someone please cast them together... Againn.”
Meanwhile, both Aishwarya and Hrithik have many exciting projects in the lineup. The Taal actress will next be seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan’s next part. On the other hand, Roshan is busy working on Siddharth Anand's upcoming directorial ‘Fighter’. He will be seen opposite Deepika Padukone for the first time and fans can’t wait to watch them together on the silver screen.
