On the occasion of Karwa Chauth, many ladies from Bollywood observed a fast for their better halves. From Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Sonali Bendre, Shilpa Shetty to Priyanka Chopra, all of them stayed hungry for the entire day and wished for the long life of their respective Pati Parmeshwars. Sonam Kapoor's mother organizes an event at her home every year to celebrate the day and so does Jaya Bachchan. This time, at the Bachchan's, Sonali Bendre was present too. Sonali Bendre took to her Instagram account to post a picture with her hubby Goldie Behl as well as an image with all the ladies including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan. While sharing the pictures, she wrote, "Moon spotting #KarwaChauth Jaya aunty.” The occasion was very special for Sonali Bendre as she has recently recovered from Cancer. All the ladies were nicely dressed in sarees and we even got a glimpse of Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan's darling daughter Aaradhya.
On the other side, at Sunita Kapoor's residence, Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon celebrated Karwa Chauth along with their better halves. Shilpa put up pictures of Instagram and was all praise for her hubby as even he stayed hungry all day with her. She stated that she is falling in love with him more and that they have spent 10 incredible years together.
Far away from India, Priyanka Chopra too observed a fast for hubby Nick Jonas and put up pictures on social media. Nick even wore a kurta for the occasion. Hows weet!
