Ajay Devgn Confirms Contributing A Part Of Shivaay’s Opening Collection To The Uri Martyr’s Fund

Ajay Devgn has formally announced that he will contribute to the URI attack Martyr’s fund by directing a part of the opening collection of his film Shivaay towards the fund.

The story goes that yesterday Ajay Devgn held a screening of his film Shivaay for few exhibitors and distributors. During the screening they took the decision of contributing a part of their first day collection towards the Uri Martyr fund. When Ajay came to know about this, he happily agreed to their decision and said that he will also match up their contribution and pitch in towards the fund.

Ajay Devgn said, ‘I whole heartedly support the fund raising for the family of the martyrs who lost their lives at URI defending our country. As the producer of Shivaay, I am pleased to announce that we shall match the contribution made by the members of Cinema Owners and Exhibitors’ Association.’

This is Ajay’s response to the letter circulated by the Cinema Owners and Exhibitor’s Association for fund raising.

Ajay Devgn has been very vocal about his opinion on the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. He has come out in full support of banning Pakistani artistes in India.

Ajay has spoken loud and clear that nothing is more important to him than his country and he holds the soldiers of our country at the highest pedestal.

Ajay’s opinions have somewhere deepened an already existing crack between Karan Johar and him, as his take on the ban is directly related to Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Fawad Khan.

Not just Ajay, his wife and Bollywood actress Kajol too supported the ban and said she completely stands by what her husband said. Not just this, she has extended her support to an extent that she will soon appear on The Kapil Sharma Show with Ajay Devgn to add more star power on the show.

Ajay will get his wife Kajol, when he shoots for the show
on Saturday. This will be the first time that Kajol will be seen with Ajay on The Kapil Sharma platform (Kajol Joins Ajay To Counter Aishwarya-Ranbir-Anushka Star Power, Oct 20)

With this latest step which Ajay Devgn has taken, it’s become clearer that he will do anything to support the Indian army- be it monetarily or emotionally.
