Ajay Devgn On Whether Bollywood Is Feeling Threatened By South Indian Films; 'Same Thing Was Said About Hollywood, But Nothing Happened'
Currently, there has been a huge banter on social media regarding the South films and Bollywood films. There has been a rift saying that Bollywood is threatened by the South Indian films that are currently earning great numbers at the pan India box office. Recently, in an interview with BollywoodLife, Ajay Devgn was asked about the ongoing rift between Bollywood and the South.

Countering the question, Ajay Devgn said, “The same thing was said about Hollywood some time ago, but nothing happened. So, these things will always be spoken about, but there's no question that Bollywood will continue doing well. More importantly, it's important to stop seeing our films from different regions like the North or South or some other place and just see them as movies from India.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay has interesting projects in the pipeline. Ajay Devgn's upcoming film Runway 34 is all set to release on 29th April. Directed by the actor himself, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar, Boman Irani, and Aakanksha Singh. Talking about the release, the film will be clashing at the box office with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2.

Apart from this, Ajay Devgn recently announced the release date of his upcoming film Bholaa starring himself and Tabu. The film is a remake of the superhit Tamil film hit Kaithi. Directed by Dharmendra Sharma and produced under the Ajay Devgn Films banner, the film is all set to release on 30th March 2023.
