Ajay Devgn To Shoot For The Fundraiser Event ‘V For India’ Today; Announcement Of The Initiative To Be Made In A Few Hours-Exclusive
In June we had reported that celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Sonkashi Sinha, Vikramaditya Motwani, Imtiaz Ali and others, celebs from all walks of life will be joining hands to raise money for India, which is facing the second wave of Covid -19 infection. Now we have learnt that actor Ajay Devgn will be joining the initiative too.
In June, celebs like Arjun Kapoor, Sonkashi Sinha, Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Vikramaditya Motwani, Imtiaz Ali, Kabir Khan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, had come together to shoot for a fundraiser organized by Reliance in association with an NGO. The fund-raising event is called 'V For India'. Now we have an update to this story. Spotboye has exclusively learnt that our very own Singham actor Ajay Devgn will be shooting for the event today at Filmcity.
’It’s really great to have Ajay on board for this initiative, we will be shooting for it today and we are very excited,” says the source. The entire show will have a run time of three hours and the shooting of this initiative began on 7th June. Today, August 9 the organisers plan to announce the initiative along with a small clip. The other confirmed attendees who are part of this programme are, Vikram Bhatt, Rakul Preet, Salim Sulaiman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Sidharth Malhotra, Sonu Sood.
On the work front, Ajay has a line up of films coming up. He will next be seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India which is slated to release on August 13 on Disney Plus Hotstar. Ajay also has Maidaan, RRR with Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt., Thank God, Mayday and his digital debut show Rudra which will air on Hotstar.
