Akshay Kumar And Badshah Express Their Anguish on Disha's Brutal Rape And Killing
After news of 26-year-old Hyderabad based veterinarian Disha being brutally murdered and charred to death made headlines, many actors have been expressing their anguish over the same. Akshay Kumar and rapper Badshah too showed their anger and disappointment on the social media handle
Once again the social media platform has been fired up with anger, asking for justice for an inhumane act meted out to 26-year-old veterinarian Disha. A Hyderabad based vet was charred to death after being raped on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway on Thursday and has awakened and united Indians on the social media platform. According to reports on various portals, the deceased was sexually assaulted before she was murdered. This brutal act also got attention from Bollywood celebs, raising their voice against it.
Joining the ongoing issue, actor Akshay Kumar and Rapper Badshah have voiced their opinion and shared their disappointment towards the same. Kumar in his tweet recalling some similar incidences in the past seeks for the laws of the nation to be stricter. His Tweet read, “Whether it is #PriyankaReddy in Hyderabad, #Roja in Tamil Nadu or the law student gangraped in Ranchi,we seem to be losing it as a society. With this awakening moment in the nation once again after the 2012 Nirbhaya case, Hyderabad police tweeted about the safety measure for the female and elderly citizens and also requested the females out there to get in touch with the officials on duty for any help in the odd hours.
As per reports innewindianexpress.com, Disha on her way back home on Wednesday night had informed her sister of her car’s tyre going flat and receiving help from a stranger. Later on, she went missing and was found dead on Thursday morning.
