On Wednesday, Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Aanand L Rai lost their mothers. Akshay Kumar was spotted arriving at Aanand's mother's last rites.
As many are already aware, Akshay Kumar is currently going through a difficult time as his mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday morning. Akshay's close friend and filmmaker Aanand L Rai's mother also passed away today morning. Producer Shailesh Singh was among the first ones to visit Rai's residence. Filmmaker Anand L Rai's mother's funeral took place at Oshiwara crematorium.
Akshay Kumar, who is currently grieving with his personal loss, arrived at the Oshiwara crematorium to pay his last respects to Aanand L Rai's mother. In the pictures shared by a paparazzi, Akshay was seen arriving in a white kurta and came in with his security.
On Wednesday, Akshay shared the news of his mother's demise. The actor was very close to his mother. Taking to Twitter, Akshay wrote, "She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. Director Rohit Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Ramesh Taurani, Karan Kapadia among others attended Aruna Bhatia's funeral. As per a report in BollywoodLife, Akshay was inconsolable. It further added, "Akshay is very strong. He has seen so much in life. You will never find him weak, forget crying. But seeing him break down and cry like a little child at auntyji's funeral was heart-breaking." Sadly, it is Akshay's birthday tomorrow and it will never be the same.
