Akshay Kumar Drives Twinkle Khanna To Hospital Amid Lockdown; She Says, ‘Don't Have Coronavirus’-VIDEO
A masked Akshay Kumar drove his wife Twinkle Khanna to the hospital on Sunday morning, amid lockdown. Twinkle Khanna clarified that she doesn’t have coronavirus, but had to be taken to the hospital as her foot’s broken
Akshay Kumar is known to be a family man through and through and is a doting father as well as a loving husband. On Sunday morning, he drove his wife Twinkle Khanna to a nearby hospital for a foot dressing while she recorded the drive in a deserted Mumbai which is under lockdown. While there’s a nationwide lockdown in place, people can only go out in case of emergencies. Akshay Kumar could be seen driving the car amid empty roads, with a mask over his mouth.
In a video shared on Instagram by Twinkle Khanna, Akshay can be seen driving the car and Twinkle beside him. Twinkle captioned the post on Instagram with, "Deserted roads all the way back from the hospital. Please don’t be alarmed, I am not about to kick the bucket because I really can’t kick anything at all." In the video, she can be seen saying that the roads are completely deserted, save for some crows and pigeons. She clarifies in the video that it’s her foot that she went to the hospital for and not the coronavirus and there’s nothing to be worried about.
She said, “No, I don’t have coronavirus, people go to the hospital for many things including, like me, for being unusually clumsy. So this Sunday, my husband’s pocket is lighter, our hearts have never been so full, and my foot is bloody broken. A happy Sunday to you as well.”
In other news, Akshay Kumar has donated Rs. 25 crores to the PM Cares fund which is an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to raise funds and help the situation with the coronavirus pandemic.
