Here's a little piece of good news for all the Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana fans in Dubai. With an aim to spread cheers amid the Coronavirus crisis, the makers of Good Newwz and Dream Girl are all set to re-release their films in Dubai on June 11, 2020, albeit with all the necessary precautions. Taking to their social media accounts, the case of both these films unveiled the exciting news for all their fans out there. Good Newwz also starred Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles, whereas Balaji Productions' Dream Girl co-starred Nushrat Bharucha alongside Khurrana.

Akshay Kumar's tweet read, "The Batras are waiting to meet you again! #GoodNewwz is all set to re-release in #Dubai on 11th June, see you there!#StaySafe #StayEntertained #KareenaKapoorKhan @diljitdosanjh @Advani_Kiara @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @ShashankKhaitan @raj_a_mehta @NotSoSnob @ZeeStudios_," and his official statement to Mid Day read, "Dubai has always given so much love to my films. The re-release of Good Newwz is special, especially during such times. I hope it manages to entertain the audience once again."

Zee Entertainment's Vibha Chopra added, "The world has been going through a tough time. The re-release of Good Newwz and Dream Girl is an opportunity for the audiences to take a break from the chaotic scenario and experience the joy of watching films on the big screen, keeping health and safety at the forefront."


Well, this indeed comes as a sigh of relief for all the moviegoers in UAE, wherein the gates to theatres were opened on May 27. We now look forward to the same kind of relief and normalcy in India.
