On November 18, 2017, Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017. Manushi’s win was celebrated by the entire nation as India has won the coveted title after 17 years. Priyanka Chopra was the last Indian before Manushi to have won the Miss World title in 2000. Soon after being crowned as Miss World, Manushi bagged her debut film opposite Akshay Kumar. In November last year, Manushi Chhillar had confirmed her Bollywood debut as Sanyogita in Prithviraj led by Akshay Kumar. As today marks 3 years of the crowning moment, Manushi shared a video and thanked everyone for their love and warm wishes.

Taking to Instagram, Manushi Chhillar shared the video of the crowning moment. Manushi wrote alongside, “3 years ago!! On this day, our queen Manushi Chhillar made India proud by becoming Miss World #MissWorld #ManushiChhillar #OnThisDay @manushi_chhillar.” Sharing the same video on her Insta story, she wrote, “Today is a special day. I want to thank all my fans for the love and warmth they have showered on me. I will always treasure you kind words.”
