Akshay Kumar has come up with an advertisement helmed by R Balki to spread awareness about the precautions one must take while heading to work amidst the Coronavirus crisis.

Recently, pictures of Akshay Kumar from the sets of a commercial shoot had made their way to the internet. The PadMan actor became the first star from the film industry to step out of his home to begin shooting. The commercial has been helmed by R Balki and it is to create awareness among the masses of the precautions one must follow while we head to work amidst the Coronavirus crisis. With Unlock Phase 1, the Government has given certain relaxations to the citizens in order to help the economy sustain. The advertisement is in association with the health ministry.

The commercial that has been shared by the Press Information Bureau, sees Akshay Kumar stepping out of his home wearing a mask. The setup and getup have the feel of a rural area. As he steps out, a man warns him to not do so and asks if he is not scared of the virus at all? Akshay then states that he is following the guidelines set, that is, wearing a mask, washing hands from time to time and keeping a safe distance. He also mentions the doctors, policemen and all who are out doing their job for the country.

Earlier, as the pictures from the sets made it to the internet, R Balki had confirmed to Indian Express saying, "This is an ad for the health ministry about our post lockdown responsibilities. We need to get back to work but ensure our safety and those of others. So, at our shoot, we did the same." Check out the commercial below:
