Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 Beats Total Dhamaal And Dhadak On National Television
Akshay Kumar's films do great business on the big screens and now, his comic caper Housefull 4 registered high TRPs for a Bollywood film when it premiered on National TV
Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull franchise has been a HIT from the onset. And, Akshay Kumar has been a constant in all the 4 parts. In fact, his perfect comic timing is also one of the prime factors to drive the film to great numbers at the ticket windows.
This year in October, Housefull 4 hit the big screens and it harped on the theme of reincarnation. To infuse comedy in reincarnation isn’t a cakewalk, but the makers managed to pull the crowds to the cinema halls yet again as the film raked in big moolah (Total NET Gross: 205.60 crore).
After enjoying a good run at the box-office, the film gained high TRPs on National TV. Hosuefull 4 had its World Television Premiere on Star Gold on Dec 22, 2019 at 12 PM. It registered high TRPs of 6, for a Bollywood film beating the likes of Dhadak and Total Dhamaal that enjoyed TRPs of 5 and 4.8 respectively.
Well, the Khiladi Kumar is not just a HIT on the silver screen, but also on your TV sets and this story is a clear-cut proof. Housefull 4 is directed by Farhad Samji and it also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hedge and Kriti Kharbanda.
Speaking of the other 2 films, Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor marked their big screen debuts with Dhadak, an official adaptation of the superhit Marathi flick, Sairat. The film had its World TV Premiere on Sept 30, 2018 at 9pm on Zee Cinema.
On the other hand, Total Dhamaal premiered for the first time on Star Gold Channel at 12.30pm on May 12, 2019. The film starred an ensemble cast comprising of Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Javed Jafferi and Riteish Deshmukh.
