Fans of Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt are so disappointed. With bated breath, they were waiting for their collaboration in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah. But now, the film has been put on the backburner. Salman Khan made the announcement on Twitter that the film has been postponed whereas SLB's production house revealed that the film has been shelved as of now. This mean, there is no Salman Khan film releasing on Eid 2020. A great opportunity for other stars to grab on and who better than Akshay Kumar to understand this? Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb will now make it to the theatres on May 22, 2020.

Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb which also stars Kiara Advani was earlier supposed to release on June 5, 2020. Even though they were keen to release their film on Eid, a strong competition from Salman and Alia's Inshallah posed as a threat. Two films releasing on the same day is definitely not a good sign and especially of stars who are as big as Salman and Akshay. Thanks to the change in SLB's plan for Inshallah, the threat is out of the picture for Akshay's Laxmmi Bomb. Raghava Lawrence is directing Laxmmi Bomb.

These sudden change of plans in the release dates of films has got the social media buzzing. However, the question still remains whether Akshay will get a solo release on Eid.

Going by Salman's tweet, it may not be the case. In his tweet, Salman mentioned, "The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!" Now does that mean he has some other film planned to release on Eid or what, we'll have to wait and see.
