Akshay Kumar's brother-in-law Karan Kapadia is all set to step into showbiz. The budding actor is gearing up for his debut film Blank, trailer of which was dropped online, a few days back. For those who don’t know, Karan is late actress Simple Kapadia’s son and Twinkle Khanna’s brother. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Akshay Kumar has shot for a special song with Karan.


A report in Mirror states, “The duo who is related through Twinkle Khanna — Akshay’s actressturned-author wife is Karan’s cousin — shot for the high-energy number, which is composed by Arko, on Monday at a suburban Mumbai studio.”


Confirming the news to Mirror, Akshay said, “Karan has chosen an unconventional route for his debut and I am extremely proud of him. Doing this song is my way of wishing him all the best.” Khiladi Kumar went on to say that he is impressed by the Karan’s acting in his debut film. He told the tabloid, “The boy has genuine acting skills. I first saw the spark in a short film that he did (Crescendo, 2014) which even went to the Cannes Film Festival. With Blank, Karan has gone several notches up in terms of acting and performance.”


Punjabi sensation B Praak, who recently lent his voice to Teri Mitti from Kesari featuring Akshay, has once again sung for the actor.

On the day of Blank's trailer release, Akshay and Twinkle had taken to social media to wish the debutant luck for his journey. Akshay Kumar wrote, “Have watched him grow up from a lanky little kid to this fine young man. Extremely happy to share the #BlankTrailer introducing @KapadiaKaran! @iamsunnydeol @behzu @carnivalpicturs @TonyDsouza,”. While Twinkle wrote, “It's a big day for Karan Kapadia and us. I don't know if heaven exists - but if it does then his mother Simple will be very proud watching her son.” Well, there are surely some perks of having Akshay Kumar as your brother-in-law.
