She later went on to star in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Sonchiriya, Bala, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Saand Ki Ankh. The actress celebrated her birthday on July 18. Fans and industry friends showered birthday love on the actress.
Akshay Kumar, who has worked with the actress in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, shared a hilarious pic and penned a funny caption to wish Bhumi on her birthday. Sharing a goofy picture, Akshay wrote, "Trying my best to make the birthday girl smile. She's clearly realised she's turned a year older today. Akshay and Bhumi are again set to share screen space in the upcoming film Raksha Bandhan. Last month, Akshay shared a candid picture with Bhumi Pednekar and director Aanand L Rai and wrote in the caption, "When you are happy, it shows.
