Well, things got a hilariously tragic when fans of Salman Khan brought Akshay Kumar’s Canadian citizenship in between and trended ‘Akshay show your voter ID’ as a counter tag to that of Kumar fans.

Well, it is a known fact that Akshay Kumar is a Canadian citizen and that doesn’t give him the right to cast vote during the Indian elections. And the actor is often trolled for the very same reason. Yesterday, however, got a little worse. Taking to their respective Twitter accounts, Salman fans wrote some funny remarks and got their hashtag trending on the top for several hours. “Akshay Kumar fans keep saying that Khans are Pakistanis. But we have seen Khans voting in India during every election. Now we demand @akshaykumar to show us his Indian Voter ID. AKSHAY SHOW YOUR VOTER ID,” wrote a fan, while another mocked Kumar by writing, “Akshay sir lage haath Aadhar card aur Pan Card bhi dikha do.”
