Alaia F’s Jawaani Jaaneman: Tabu Gets Hysterical

Now, it’s official. The film's producers- Jay Shewakramani and Saif Ali Khan have confirmed that Tabu has been roped in for a pivotal role in the Nitin Kakkar-directed family comedy. The senior actress will show her comic side again.
Confirming the same, Saif, who is producing Jawaani Jaaneman under the banner Black Knight Films, has told Mid-day, “Tabu is a brilliant actor. This part is funny on paper, and I'm pleased that she has agreed to play it as now it will be hysterical.” However, he refused to reveal if they are romantically paired in their latest collaboration- their previous outings together being Biwi No 1 (1999) and Golmaal Again (2017).
Co-producer Jay Shewakramani has also spoken on Tabu's inclusion, saying that Kakkar, had, in fact, written the part in question with Tabu in his mind.“Tabu is a close friend, so it wasn't difficult approaching her.She was always the first choice for Saif, Nitin and me. Fortunately, she heard the narration and instantly said yes. It's too early at this stage to reveal her character; all I can say is that she has an extremely special role."
Well, knowing Tabu's acting potential, we can only say that Jawaani Jaaneman just got richer. Isn't she a lava of talent?
