Alanna Panday and Ivor McCray got hitched in a traditional wedding ceremony on Thursday
Social media influencer and Bollywood actress Ananya Panday’s cousin Alanna Panday tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Ivor McCray in a traditional wedding ceremony, on Thursday at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. Dressed in a white sherwani and a light green turban, the groom came on a horse as per the tradition, while his friends and families danced during the wedding procession. A video of the same is doing the rounds on the internet, which has left the netizens furious.
In the video posted by a pap account, Ivor can be seen dancing alongside his baraatis whilst sitting on top of a white horse. His friends and family are having the time of their life dancing as they reach the wedding venue. However the video has not gone down well with the netizens, as many expressed their displeasure over celebrities exploiting animals.
One netizen wrote, “These people act like so educated and influencing the world but lacks basic compassion towards animals. You have enough money to get a vintage car . Why torturing this poor horse.” Another wrote, “Is it only me Or anyone else is concerned about the horse..... They don't deserve this... Please stopp.” Other one wrote, “These Bollywood people are the stupidest living creatures on this planet. The whole lot needs some sense and literacy for understanding that these animals don't deserve this. Inki sangat Mein padhe likhe angrez bhi chu**** ban ja rhe hain.”
For the unversed, Alanna Panday is the daughter of Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday and his wife Deanne Panday. The social media influencer got engaged to her photographer boyfriend Ivor in 2021. The pictures and videos from their wedding ceremony have been going viral on social media.
