Alia Bhatt Accepts Criticism For Kalank, Will Make Sure "She Doesn't Disappoint" In Future
Karan Johar’s period drama Kalank starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles may be minting good money at the box-office, but it’s facing fair share of criticism too. The movie met with a mixed response critically and hasn’t quite lived up to the sky-high expectations. Several social media users expressed their disappointment over the film.

Now, at the Critics Choice Film Awards, when Alia was quizzed on the same, the actress replied, "Analyse toh mai nahi karugi because that's something that is not required. Janta ki adaalat sabse badi adaalat hoti hai and when the audience does not accept the film, then the film should not do well, that's just the way it is. Aur hume bas accept karke aage try karna hai to come back and make sure to not disappoint this time.” Check out her reaction in the video below:

Well, that was quite honest on her part. Kalank, directed by Abhishek Varman also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kemmu. Actresses like Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon have special dance numbers in the film. The box-office business so far stands at Rs 66.03 crore, and by the looks of it, the movie will enter the Rs 100 crore club very soon.

Apart from this film, Alia will be seen in Brahmastra next, opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor. In fact, the actress had pleaded to the director Ayan Mukerji to cast her alongside Mr Kapoor in the film. Then, she has Karan Johar’s Takht, again a multi-starrer followed by Inshallah with Salman Khan, SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Sadak 2.
