Yesterday, Alia Bhatt along with Ranbir Kapoor's family was spotted at an airport in Mumbai. She took off to Rajasthan to spend New Years with her beau and family. Later, Alia Bhatt's family too was spotted zooming off to Rajasthan. With everyone leaving the bay for a vacation together grabbed a lot of eyeballs. It was being reported that Alia and Ranbir may get engaged today in Ranthambore, Rajasthan whilst being surrounded by friends and family. However, Randhir Kapoor has revealed that all of it is not true.
To indianexpress.com, Ranbir Kapoor's uncle Randhir Kapoor stated that the couple and their families are in Rajasthan just for a vacation. He was quoted saying, "It is not true. If Ranbir and Alia were to get engaged today, my family and I would have also been there with them. Ranbir, Alia and Neetu have gone there for holidays and to bring in the new year. The news of their engagement is incorrect.”
Ranbir's cousin sisters Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor too have not gone to Rajasthan either. But coincidentally, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are in Rajasthan and chilling with the Kapoors and Bhatts. Yesterday, Neetu Kapoor had shared a picture that had Ranbir and Ranveer in the same frame.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film will also see Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. Ranbir also has Shamshera and Luv Ranjan's next film in his kitty. Alia has Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR and Takht in her kitty.
