A lot has happened in the week following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. There’s social media outrage, netizens are calling out Bollywood biggies. There are debates over nepotism, bullying, power politics and other issues rampant in the film industry. Amid all of this, not only are celebs like Karan Johar facing the heat, but star kids too have been on the receiving end of extreme criticism and trolling. While Sonakshi Sinha deactivated her Twitter account, celebrities such as Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan have now turned off comments on Instagram.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt have both disabled the comment section for their fans and other people, only limiting the comments on their posts to those who they choose. As a result of which, in the posts shared over the last 24 hours, on both Kareena and Alia’s Instagram only shows a limited number of comments, mostly by verified accounts or their close friends. Not just Alia and Kareena, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonam Kapoor have also done the same on their Instagram accounts.

It was also being reported how Alia and Karan  Johar lost many followers on Instagram after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.


Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha simply deactivated her Twitter account, after which she shared a video on her Instagram taking a jibe at the trolls. She wrote, “Ive taken away YOUR power to be able to say whatever it is that you want to me, my family and my friends. Ive taken away that access you had to me, that i had given you so trustingly. So theres only one winner here. Me. Your negativity has never served me or my life, which is why it literally took a snap of a finger to get rid of a following of 16 million people which ive garnered over the last ten years.
