Alia Bhatt On Mahesh Bhatt Not Featuring Any Actors On Sadak 2 Poster; ‘Mount Kailash Has Footprints Of Gods And Sages Do We Need Anything Else?’
As the lockdown has extended for another month, filmmakers in a live chat with Disney+Hotstar, announced that 7 new films will have an OTT release. Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and others came together for a digital press conference where they announced the release of their films on Disney+Hotstar. Movies like Sushant Singh Rajput's Dil Bechara, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt starrer Sadak 2, Akshay Kumar-Kiara Advani led Laxmmi Bomb, Abhishek Bachchan's The Big Bull, Ajay Devgn-Sanjay Dutt's Bhuj, Kunal Kemmu's Lootcase and Vidyut Jammwal’s Khuda Haafiz are set to release on the above mentioned OTT platform.

Speaking about the Sadak, the movie poster features a long road and Kailash Parvat in the background. During her live session, Alia revealed that she asked her father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt if they should cast any actor on the poster. She then pulled a note which was Mahesh’s reasoning behind featuring only the mountain. Speaking about why no actor’s on the poster, Alia Bhatt during a live session with Disney+Hotstar on Monday evening, said, “Mount Kailash, the ageless mountain, has the footprints of gods and sages.”

“It is the abode of God of all gods, Lord Shiva. So do we really need anything else? Or actors in that sacred space? Since the beginning of time, humanity found its shelter in Kailash. This is a place where all search ends. Sadak two is a road to love. This sequel to Sadak will take you on the mother of all love pilgrimages,” she added.
