Girls can indeed bond over fashion. And Sidharth Malhotra’s ex Alia Bhatt and current girlfriend Tara Sutaria did just that. Eyebrows raised be damned. They were so engrossed discussing the latest trends in clothes that they didn't bother that they were the cynosure of all eyes. Okay, so here's the story.

Fashion designer recently celebrated completion of his 20 years in the fashion industry. And many Bollywood actresses joined in to celebrate his successful journey of their favourite designer SabyaSachi. Among those, the two ladies who caught everyone’s attention were Karan Johar’s students, Alia and Tara.

An eyewitness tells us, "Alia made the first move and that was heartwarming. She hugged Tara almost the same moment she saw her. She then hugged Ananya Panday (Karan's other new student, who also stars in Student Of The Year 2 with Tara) too. And then, she told them to sit beside her. Soon, Tara and Alia struck some chord and started chatting like they were long-lost friends."

Post his break-up with Alia, Sidharth was drawn towards Jacqueline Fernandez. The two spent quite a bit of quality time together and then went different ways. After that, Sidharth was attracted towards Kiara Advani but that soon fizzled out. Now, they say he is madly-in-love with Tara who also is quite crazy about him. FYI, we were the first to break that story.

As for Alia, she is in a very strong and steady relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Even Rishi and Neetu love her. Rumours of her tying the knot with their son have been doing the rounds since 4 months now. However, nothing official has been said by neither the Bhatts nor the Kapoors. In fact in a recent interview with, Soni Razdan would only say on the Ranbir-Alia love story, "If my daughter is happy, I am happy." CLICK BELOW TO SEE IT.
