There have been several rumours regarding Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding making the headlines. After uncle Robin Bhatt's wedding confirmation, now Alia Bhatt's stepbrother Rahul Bhatt has confirmed that he is invited to Bollywood's biggest fat wedding. Confirming the same, Rahul told ETimes he would attend the ceremonies but won't sing and dance. He said, “I will be there in the capacity of a bouncer. I will be the rakshak (protector) at the wedding.”
For the unversed, Rahul Bhatt is the son of Mahesh Bhatt from his first marriage to Lorraine Bright (Kiran Bhatt). Earlier, Rahul had made headlines after he got up in a huge controversy during the 2008 26/11 attack.

Earlier, Alia's uncle Robin, who is Mahesh Bhatt's half-brother, claimed in a new interview with India Today that Alia and Ranbir will marry on April 14. He was quoted saying, "The couple’s wedding would be a 4-day event and that an intimate ceremony will take place at RK’s Bandra home, Vastu.” Well, the wedding news is still under the table as rumours. None of the officials or Ranbir and Alia have confirmed the wedding with the actual dates. But looking at the scenario, it seems like the wedding preparations are going on in full swing as recently Alia Bhatt's Manager, PR head, and Security head was spotted at Ranbir Kapoor's apartment.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be soon seen for the first time in Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is all set to release on 9th September 2022. Apart from Alia and Ranbir, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna playing crucial roles. Meanwhile, Alia also has Jee Le Zaraa, Darlings, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani on her list. Shamshera, Animal, and another film with Shraddha Kapoor are among Ranbir's upcoming projects.
