Alia Bhatt’s Debut Film Student Of The Year Completes 8 Years, Actress Writes, ‘8 Yearsssss Can’t Believe It’
Alia Bhatt is thrilled as her debut movie Student Of The Year clocked 8 years of its release today
October 19, 2012, marked the release of Student Of The Year when filmmaker Karan Johar launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra on the silver screen. Today as the film marked 8 years of its release, KJo’s Dharma Production's CEO, Apoorva Mehta recalled this moment by posting a film poster of the movie on his INSTA Stories, tagging the film leads and Karan Johar as well. Alia Bhatt who played the leading lady in the film noticed it and gave out reaction to it.
Sharing the same on her INSTA Stories, she wrote on it, “8 Yearsssss Can’t Believe It,” followed by emojis. Alia was quite thrilled and went on to share her fan club posts celebrating this day as well as taking us down the memory lane, by sharing a collage of her onscreen characters. Alia played the role of Shanaya Singhania in the film who was a rich kid. Alia was nominated in the debut female award category in many award functions that year and won the Lions Gold Awards for favourite debut female award as well.
