Alia Bhatt Wants To Do A Film Titled Nukkad With Akshay Kumar- Deets Inside
This afternoon, Disney Plus Hotstar held a virtual press conference with Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to announce the release of their films on the OTT platform. The virtual event gave away the information on 7 films which will be streaming on the platform.

Akshay Kumar was present to release two new posters of his film, Laxmmi Bomb whereas Alia Bhatt released the first poster of Sadak 2.

As soon as Alia revealed the poster, Varun Dhawan, who was hosting the event, asked her you did Highway, Gully Boy and now Sadak 2 what next? Well, it took time for Alia to understand the joke but Akshay Kumar immediately replied, 'Nukkad'. To which Alia said, "Yes, Nukkad with Akshay Kumar sir." And Varun in a quirky way said, "Alia ne baithe baithe film bhi sign karli."

While releasing the poster of her upcoming film Sadak 2, an excited Alia said, “This movie is a homecoming in true sense. It’s the continuation of the first film and not a recreation." She also revealed that Kailash Parvat plays a significant role in the film.

In the poster, as there are no characters shown, Alia narrated a quote of her father Mahesh Bhatt, revealing the reason behind it. She read out, “Mount Kailash - the ageless mountain has the footprints of gods and sages. It is the abode of the god of all gods - Lord Shiva. Do we really need anything else or actors in that sacred space. Since the beginning of time, humanity found it’s shelter in Kailash. This is the place where all search ends. Sadak 2 is the road to love."
