Ajay Devgn's second directorial Shivaay (after U, Me aur Hum) is a talking point in the industry. The news that Saira Banu's teenage niece Sayesha will star opposite him has aroused interest.

Now, SpotboyE.com has learnt that Ajay Devgn plays the title role in the film. Says a source, "He plays a convicted prisoner who comes out of jail and begins yet another plot to bring down a sinister empire." And what exactly is this empire all about ?

"The empire revolves around a prostitution racket from which Ajay's character - which borrows several traits from Lord Shiva- is seen rescuing Sayesha who's embroiled in it," the source reveals, before adding, "The film follows an approach similar to Liam Neeson's Taken in terms of plot and pace."

National Award-winning costume designer Niharika Khan (The Dirty Picture, Bombay Velvet) has been asked to design the costumes for the film.
