Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar also known as Babasaheb Ambedkar or B.R Ambedkar was one of the major architects of the Constitution of India and is also known as the father of the Indian constitution. Babasaheb Ambedkar was an Indian politician and social reformer who fought against social discrimination towards the untouchables in the country. Born on April 14, 1891 in Mhow, Indore, this day marks Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's birthday and is also celebrated as Ambedkar Jayanti in the country. On Ambedkar Jayanti, Lata Mangeshkar, Kamal Haasan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and other celebrities pay tribute to Dr. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary.

On Twitter, Lata Mangeshkar shared a tweet paying tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar on the occasion of his birth anniversary. In her tweet, the singer greeted all her fans out there and paid her tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, on his the birth anniversary and congratulated him. Lata Mangeshkar also mentioned that it was her pleasure that she could meet him directly.

Other than Lata Mangeshkar, Bollywood celebrity Ayushmann Khurrana and actor Kamaal Haasan also tweeted paying tribute to Dr. B R Ambedkar. The Dream Girl actor tweeted, “Salute to the father of Indian constitution. #AmbedkarJayanti.” In his tweet, Khurrana saluted the father of the Indian Constitution on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti. As Ayushmann saluted Babasaheb Ambedkar, Kamal Haasan tweeted about the constitution that Dr. B R Ambedkar gave the nation. In his tweet, Haasan spoke about how it was India's dream is to be a shield of human rights, to be equal to all people, regardless of religion, race, language, profession, discrimination, and to treat everyone as equals.
