Amid Lockdown, Amitabh Bachchan Misses Wife Jaya Bachchan Who Is Locked In Delhi, Actress Unlikely To Return To Mumbai Soon
As per the latest reports, Amitabh Bachchan is missing Jaya Bachchan who is currently grounded in Delhi due to the Coronavirus lockdown. But the veteran actress has no intention to make a return to Mumbai anytime soon because of the lockdown. It looks like Big B has to wait to meet her for a little longer
Ever since the novel Coronavirus has been ruling over the human race, making an environment difficult to breathe in, Amitabh Bachchan has been quite active on social media and is doing every possible way to spread awareness amongst the people while urging everyone to stay home and stay safe. However, with the lockdown extended to May 3, the Thug Of Hindostan actor has nothing much to do but he surely misses his missus. As per the latest reports in Bollywood Hungama, Amitabh Bachchan is missing his wife Jaya Bachchan who is currently grounded in Delhi due to the Coronavirus lockdown. But the veteran actress has no intention to make a return to Mumbai anytime soon. It looks like Big B has to wait to meet her for a little longer
The portal mentions that she has been “catching up on a lot of paperwork, unseen films, and also a long brisk walk every morning and evening in her back garden.” Plus, she will not return to Mumbai as soon as the lockdown is lifted because “when the flights resume as she is not sure of how non-contagious travel would be after the lockdown.” Meanwhile, in Jalsa home in Mumbai, the veteran actor is bored, even though he does watches films but not much as he doesn’t want to strain his eyes.
A source told the website, “He is done with watching movies and he’s a very light sleeper, so he can’t accelerate the volume of sleep. He is waiting to get back to work.” The report added that the 77-years-old is keen on learning a new skill, possibly the piano but even that requires a teacher which is currently not possible.

Wishing his mother, he had written on Instagram, “As every child will tell you, their favourite word is... MA! Happy Birthday, Ma. Although you are away in Delhi due to the lockdown and we all are here in Mumbai, know that we are thinking of you and carry you in our hearts.
