Karan Johar who had jetted off to Goa with his family- mother Hiroo Johar and kids Yash and Roohi Johar on September 16, 2020, is back in town. The filmmaker along with his family was clicked exiting the private airport a while back. Accompanying them was their staff; Karan was seen in a black T-shirt, while his mother was seen in a deep green coloured outfit. She was seen seated in a wheelchair as she headed towards the car.

Also, all four of them were seen following the safety measures by wearing masks amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Karan Johar was recently dragged in the headlines for his controversial 2019 house party. The filmmaker issued a statement refuting all claims that narcotics were consumed at the party. Also, as per the latest reports, even the Narcotics Control Bureau investigating the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case has confirmed KJo’s party has no connection to Bollywood drugs probe. 

As per reports in Mumbai Mirror, Karan Johar was stationed at Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s bungalow in Goa. The filmmaker has remained away from the social media platform after SSR’s death, as he faced the wrath of Netizens after the nepotism debate was reignited on social media.



On the work front, Karan Johar was supposed to begin the shoot of his multi-starrer project, Takht. However, the plan was put on hold with the outbreak of COVID-19, followed by the lockdown in the country for almost 4 months.
