This is the news I bring to you with a heavy heart. Amitabh Bachchan is unwell and admitted to Nanavati Hospital (Vile Parle). I learnt about this an hour ago and rushed off to the hospital, praying that it was just a rumour. But I have come back learning that he is being treated there apparently for liver problems. Bachchan's liver ailment is known as he himself has time and again said that his liver functions to the tune of only 25 per cent.
I have been told that Big B was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday at 2 am. It has been 3 days and hardly anybody from the industry has visited him yet- simply because most do not know about it. Obviously, the admittance was a closely guarded one.
We are sure that leading gastroenterologist Dr Barve who has always monitored his health is again in charge.
Bachchan is in a special room equivalent to ICU. People in the hospital said that he is better than he was on Tuesday but most staff was quite reluctant to talk about it in detail.

Sr Bachchan's family has been visiting him frequently and at least four guards stand outside his room to prevent any unwanted invasion.
