Amitabh Bachchan All Set To Be Voice For Google Maps; To Record His Voice From Home-Reports
As veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has been winning hearts with his soothing and powerful voice, reports state that Big B will soon be a voice navigator for the country on Google maps
Over the years, fans are entertained with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s empowering and soothing voice. Be it films, narrations at the very beginning of a historic movie, or some melodious songs, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has done it all and treated fans with his talented skills. As the actor has won hearts with his interesting songs and films, according to reports, Big B is all set to lend his voice to be the country’s navigator. Reports state that the veteran actor will soon be a voice navigator on Google maps.
According to a report in Mid-Day, Amitabh Bachchan has been approached by Google to be the voice of the most used Map and navigation application Google Maps. The report states that the 77-year-old actor will be recording his voice for the application from home once he accepts the offer. It was also reported that Big B has been offered a huge fee for the project. With reports of Amitabh Bachchan lending his baritone voice for Google Maps, there is no confirmation from the actor on the project as of yet.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, back in 2018, actor Aamir Khan also worked with Google during the promotion of the film Thugs of Hindustan. The dialogues of the actor from the film were used on the navigation app which was later removed. Talking about Google Maps’ voice feature, currently, New York-based entertainer Karen Jacobsen is used to help travellers navigate directions. Jacobsen is also the voice behind Apple’s voice assistant Siri.
Meanwhile, as much as we all are eager and pumped to listen to Amitabh Bachchan guiding us through the roads on Google Maps, the actor is busy with the release of his upcoming film Gulabo Sitabo that releases on June 12 on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
